FLIGHTSANDTOURS LIMITED BEWARE SCAM!!

I have booked tickets with FLIGHTSANDTOURS LIMITED  and I have lost my money with them.  They intentionally scammed me by pretending I had time to pay and stalling me when I wanted pay my ticket off. They had no intention of doing the booking for my airline ticket.

When purchasing the ticket the price flightsandtours quoted were way cheaper than other companies. now I know why!!  flightsandtours.co.uk had no ticket to sell me at the price quoted it was a scam.

The date on the email asking me to pay the deposit had a small line saying the payment had to be paid by the next day, they are now stating that this meant the balance.  However on their website it says....

Lowest Price

You can book your tour with only an initial deposit and pay the rest within 2 days of commencement of the trip.

How many others have been caught out by this company???

These people should not be allowed to do what they are doing. they are based apparently in Aldershot and their website is www.flightsandtours.co.uk

I have emails and telephone logs to back up my experience with them so don't say you have not been warned.

Africa at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2015

Yet again another amazing turn out at the WTM this year in ExCeL Exhibition Centre London.

At the WTM there were various seminars to wet our taste buds for the travel business, which is becoming more successful each year. Seminars included 'Responsible Tourism', 'How to Collaborate with Bloggers', 'Travel Start Up Pitches' etc.  There was also a wealth of opportunities before, during and after the WTM to network with other travel/tourism providers, which is a major part of the event.

2016 will be a new year for Africa to get back into business, as they recover from a bad season in 2015 with low tourism.  Even though most African countries were not directly affected by Ebola the ongoing negative media coverage of the Ebola crisis has had a vast impact on tourism in Africa as a continent.

Vibrant cultural displays from African Countries such as Uganda; South Africa; Malawi; Kenya; Nigeria; Botswana; Gambia; Senegal; and others were well exhibited.  It is forecasted that Africa will have the second highest growth rate in the world to 2030 and eight African countries are included in the 20 fastest growing economies worldwide.

Yet again Gambia's presence was felt in full force led by Momodou Joof,  as they discussed the richness which Gambia has to offer tourism.  'Rave about Africa' who also work in partnership with Momodou Joof were in attendance to highlight Gambia's rich culture and to also promote the 2016 Gambia Roots Festival by networking with traders and visitors at the World Travel Market 2015.
