Gambia Roots Festival 2016

Gambia Roots Festival celebrates the coming together of Africans and friends of Africa from the Diaspora and are presented with a unique opportunity to attend and participate in The Festival which is a biennial event, to give them a renewed sense of cultural enlightenment..

Cultural Tourism in the Gambia

A new wave of tourism is sweeping the world. People now want to have a rich educational encounter when they travel and also want to participate and make a difference to the country they travel to.

The Gambia holds the 'International Roots Festival' as a biennial event to celebrate the coming together of Africans and Friends of Africa from all over the world to celebrate the rich culture & historical wealth of Africa.
